Dom's Autos: 8 Months In

On Friday June 19th 2026, we checked back in on Dom's Autos to see how their current progress compares to their first 90 days. Shortly after the first 90 days, they were able to double their posting frequency and increased from one post per day to two. Here is how those number have grown.

Dom's Dashboard June 2026

91 of which are still published on their Facebok page with the rest having cycled off as the vehicles sold.

An average of 353 views per post, with 99.7% generated organically and no ad spend behind them

54.6% of all views came from people who did not currently follow their Facebook page, putting their inventory in front of new potential buyers.

An average of 7.5 clicks per post, sending qualified, interested traffic directly to the relevant vehicle on their website

An increase of more than 90%. Consistent, high quality posting over eight months has been a meaningful contributor to that growth.

Calculating the Time Saved

184.6 hours saved. At least $4,615 in time value. Over 22 hours given back every month.

Reach and engagement numbers tell part of the story. The other part, and arguably the more important one for a busy dealership, is the time that was never spent.

We calculate time savings using a conservative, transparent methodology: 25 minutes per post for content creation, and 15 minutes per sold vehicle for the work involved in managing the post once a vehicle sells. Both figures reflect what it realistically takes a staff member to select photos, write a caption, create even a basic price graphic, and post it manually, and to then find and update or remove a post once a vehicle is gone.

Applied to Dom's Autos' activity over the past eight months, that works out to 184.6 hours, worth at least $4,615 at a conservative $25 an hour. We say at least because that figure does not include the daily few minutes spent simply checking the lot to work out what is new and what has sold, a small task on its own but one that pulls attention away from the floor every single day, nor does it reflect what most dealership staff are actually paid, which in many cases is considerably more than $25 an hour.

Broken down monthly, that is more than 22 hours given back to the dealership every month, or upwards of five hours a week.

Five hours a week is not a rounding error. It is most of a working day. The real value is not the dollar figure itself but the opportunity cost behind it: every hour a salesperson did not spend behind a laptop creating social content is an hour they could spend on the floor with a customer, working toward a commission that is worth far more than any admin wage.

That, more than any single metric, is what Auto Lot Impact is built to deliver.
