What the approval process involved
Lithia dealerships are required to use approved vendors — so when one of their dealers wanted to use Auto Lot Impact, the only route was to sponsor us through the official approval process. That sponsorship was the starting point for what turned into a thorough four-month journey.
The process covered everything you would expect from an organisation of Lithia's scale. Formal applications, legal review, detailed assessments of how we handle and store data, risk evaluations, and specific insurance requirements. Each stage required preparation and care to get right.
We took every step seriously. When you are asking dealerships to connect their inventory systems and their social media accounts to your platform, you need to be able to demonstrate that you have earned that trust. Going through Lithia's process gave us the opportunity to prove exactly that.
